# Get a Persona delivery policy

> Read the optional ordered routing rules owned by a registered Persona

Read the one optional policy attached to a DNS-backed Persona. The Persona must be registered and active, but it may have no policy. An expired or revoked Persona returns `409 persona_inactive` rather than exposing an applicable policy.

`404` means the Persona has no policy or does not exist. Inspect the `error` field to distinguish `policy_not_found` from `persona_not_found`.
